I studied aviation in college, and I've been a pilot for 26 years. Many of you know that I quit my job as an airline pilot last week.
A friend from college came to visit a few days after I quit, and asked what I planned to do now. To answer her question, I pulled out my computer and played Blossom Benedict Vanderpol's movie Greater Than Yesterday for her.
As I sat there watching it with her, I couldn't stop the tears from streaming down my face. I have seen the short film several times already, and it was like I had never seen any of it before. I was watching with new eyes and new ears and from a different space than I have ever allowed myself to experience before. It was the space of truly stepping into my gifts and talents as a facilitator, claiming and owning what I know, and finally not being afraid to show it and share it with the world.
I've been facilitating clients over the last few days, and the gift that they have been to me and the magic we have been able to create for them has been phenomenal. If there was ever any doubt about leaving my job, it is totally gone now.
I am so grateful to Blossom for creating and sharing such a beautiful film. It makes it so much easier (and more fun) to share with people what it is we do with this set of tools called Access Consciousness.
