The Anti-Resolution Revolution

New Year's Resolutions often look something like this -
You really want to change something but don't know how (or you would have done it already). With your super-sized New Year's willpower (and/or a heavy does of guilt), you promise to do something that has thus far seemed as elusive as finding a leprechaun in your backyard. You give it your best shot anyway, and by mid-January, when nothing has changed, you give up, feeling worse about yourself than you did when you started.
I have a different suggestion for you this year. What if you could start the year nourishing yourself instead of "shoulding" yourself into change? What if you could change the things you would like to change with ease instead of force? Wouldn't it be nice to look forward to January instead of dreading it?
Sound too good to be true? That's what I thought too. No pain, no gain, right? What if there is another way? You can always go back to being hard on yourself again in February if you want to. My hope is you won't want to.
