The Anti-Resolution Revolution

The Anti-Resolution Revolution

New Year's Resolutions often look something like this -

You really want to change something but don't know how (or you would have done it already). With your super-sized New Year's willpower (and/or a heavy does of guilt), you promise to do something that has thus far seemed as elusive as finding a leprechaun in your backyard. You give it your best shot anyway, and by mid-January, when nothing has changed, you give up, feeling worse about yourself than you did when you started.

Sound familiar?

I have a different suggestion for you this year. What if you could start the year nourishing yourself instead of "shoulding" yourself into change? What if you could change the things you would like to change with ease instead of force? Wouldn't it be nice to look forward to January instead of dreading it?

Sound too good to be true? That's what I thought too. No pain, no gain, right? What if there is another way? You can always go back to being hard on yourself again in February if you want to. My hope is you won't want to.

For the first two weeks in January, I'll be offering daily questions, ideas and facilitation in a free FB group. Join us here. I'll also be offering optional zoom calls that will go a little deeper into topics.

I wonder how much change we can create and how much fun we can have in the process? Let's find out.
